Hi. I'm Yang Yang.

I am a PhD candidate in statistics at University of Minnesota. Statistical computing, data visualization and consulting are my strength. I am passionate about photography and I am a Chicago Bulls fan.

Education

PhD candidate, School of Statistics, University of Minnesota, Fall 2012 to Present (Graduation Expected Summer 2017)

B.S. Mathematics, B.S. Mathematical Biology, magna cum laude, Beloit College, Fall 2009 to Spring 2012

My Research Interests

My Resume/CV

My advisor is Dr. Galin Jones

Currently I am working on two projects: Diffusion Tensor Imaging (DTI) and temporal exponential random graphs (TERGM).

Diffusion Tensor Imaging (DTI)

Most of the research have focused on the uncertainty of neuron fiber orientation at voxel level. We are investigating various methods on assessing the aggregated error after connecting all the voxels.

Temporal Exponential Random Graph

I am working with Dr.Zack Almquist to study the dynamics of networks. This project is funded by Army Research Office
