Reading: Chapter 7, Appendix Section 7.9.1, Chapter 8 and Chapter 9. Chapter 8 will be discussed in lab.

Problems to be handed in: 7.4, 7.7.3, 7.7.6, 7.7.8 (part b only), and 7.7.10.

Additional Problems you should know how to do: 7.3, 7.5 and the rest of 7.7. Problem 7.5 is a demonstration that should provide additional information on the behavior of R-squared.
